English Roundhand is sedate and elegant at the same time. It was first introduced in the era of quill pens and has evolved to its present perfection over a period of 350 yrs. It has been a favorite of printers and engravers for wedding invitations since the 1800’s.

Italic is the oldest style of lettering and is used in addressing envelopes having its roots in the 13th century. And yet, it has evolved into one of the most pleasing and contemporary styles used by calligraphers today. The Northwest is home to some of the finest italic calligraphy.

Foundational was adapted from then tenth-century Caroline alphabet. It is renowned for its clarity and gracefully defined characters. Addressing envelopes or used for a personally designed invitation package, Foundational is always elegant and in good taste.
